If anyone cares anymore, the reason Madison got 119% turnout is this:
100% turnout is 100% of registered voters. There are more potential voters who are not registered, and who may come to the polling place, register that day and vote.
If there are 100 registered voters in a district, and 90 of them show up to vote, and 29 unregistered voters go to the polling place, register and vote, the turnout is 119%.
Where are those ten registered voters?! What did you do with them? They were Republicans, weren’t they? And you buried them in a landfill! Did you at least fill out the Environmental Impact Statement? How about the Totally Mental Impact Statement?!
No, that’s not the pattern I’m getting at. Maybe another example? “You bastards are driving up the debt!!!” Yeah, that’s a one-party effort :rolleyes: Not a perfect example because the other side is guilty in this case, but there ya go.
