And I turn on the local news, and the first story is kids being kept home from high schools here because of two cases of measles turning up. I believe how it goes is if you don’t have proof of vaccination, you get to stay home for now.

She’s not too big a surprise - I recall something about her feeding her baby in a weird way (like a baby bird) and she’s also a vegan. Still, every celebrity who joins the Dark Side is a bad thing.
I would not be surprised if someone finds a link between autism and premature birth. More premature babies than ever are being saved. It’s caused a rise in cerebral palsy. I can’t help wondering if it will be linked to other disabilities as well.
Personally, I think redefinition and a rise in detection rates, as well as the loss of stigma once the “refrigerator mother” theory breathed its last, are the main reasons.
