Ansers to objective questions; better on weekends or weekdays?

If one really wants an fairly reliable answer to an objective question is it better to post the question, over on general questions, on a weekend or a weekday? Does the time of day matter?

I don’t think there’s any real way to tell, without knowing what the question is.

One thing i’ve noticed is that there are more people around during the week, whereas weekends can sometimes be kind of quiet as people get out of the house (or away from work) and away from the computer. With more people around to answer questions, you probably have a better chance of getting a reliable answer during the week, but there’s no guarantee. Also, some people are happy to post answers in GQ without really knowing what they’re talking about, so having more people might not always lead to a better answer.

On the contrary, its very easy to tell: The weekend is pits for any question that does not get immediate multiple answers. The weekend is slow and what that does is quickly separate the very active threads and the others sink like a stone. Similarly, posting late in the day often means you will have to boost the thread the next day to get anything going on it. The obvious implication is that everyone here is killing time at work.
