Ted Haggard is another one of those evangelical homophobes who got busted for involvement with another man - and using crystal meth, because why not. More recently Haggard apparently said that he would identify as bisexual if he were younger.
From the cite
14.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
And the word "gullible’ is not found in most dictionaries. You could look it up!

Darn, I so wished I had come up with that one.
Golf clap (on your assless chaps, let’s keep it in tone).
I’ll be in my bunk.
What?!?
I’ll be in my bunk.
What?!?

Hey - as long as you feel properly shamed about it, it’s not gay.
Huh, I would have thought it was more than that.
Hey, wait a minute..D’oh!
Is it really productive to think of homosexuals and heterosexuals as “teams”? Doesn’t that imply that one of them is going to win at the expense of the other?
I’ll get ready to get slimed, but I think the guy was approaching a valid point before he went off the deep end. Notice how much “bullying” is in the news lately? I don’t know if it’s all to fit some shadowy gay agenda, but when some topic suddenly appears everywhere from pundits to celebrities to politicians, it makes me think something else is afoot. And I’ll try to make it explicitly clear - I don’t agree with this guy’s anti-gay rants or even necessarily that anti-bullying measures have anything to do with sexuality. I got bullied as a kid, as did almost everyone I know - it just seems odd that suddenly now it’s a huge issue.
And if I may chime in on homophobes being in the closet: I think that notion is poppycock (no pun intended). The prominent homophobes who have been revealed to be gay are, in my mind, more dishonest than ashamed. If you look at them, one of the biggest reasons they became successful was their opposition to homosexuality (or, at least, their adoption of views which included this opposition). They are opportunists, not individuals covering some hidden shame.
I’m glad everyone else spoke for me, since I couldn’t find words to describe the moronic moron things that were on that website. I don’t think there is a word in any language that can best describe how moronic these MassResistance people are.
NO WAY YOU BIG FAG!!!
I know it sucks, but that was my youth. Took awhile, but I was able to overcome it.
Nothin’ like peer pressure. I swear, when I was a kid, that’s all we ever said. Fuckin’ PUSSY, Fuckin’ FAG!!!
Although, I only ever watched one homosexual video – my wife dared me to get it and I showed it at a party – I had no idea what could fit in a human beings ass.
Lulz.
Have you considered that maybe it’s because it’s getting reported more and is seen as less socially acceptable than it used to be?
There were a couple of kids driven to suicide by anti-gay bullying which got a lot of press and inspired the It Gets Better Projectwhich is intended to support victims of bullying and which likewise has attracted a lot of celebrity attention. In short, what you’re seeing is not a “shadowy gay agenda” to manufacture instances of anti-gay bullying; it’s a extremely overt mostly-gay-but-also-straight-supported agenda to shine a light on the prevalence of anti-gay bullying which is, and has long been, very very prevalent indeed, especially in schools.
And I got bullied as a kid too. The difference is that in a lot of these cases the schools and the kid’s parents are on the side of the bullies or, worse, ARE the bullies.
Since when does being straight= being masculine? :dubious:
Seconded (with a [del]head bob[/del] nod to the “lifestyle choice” = latent argument)
All women are innately bisexual.
Reminds me of what Michelle Bachmann’s husband, Marcus said this week: gays are barbarians who need education and discipline.
In true form of course, listen to Bachmann speak and the gay vibe is about as subtle as the last 20 minutes of a Tyler Perry movie. He practically sneezes glitter.
It’s a stereotype that gay men are not masculine and gay women not feminine, but it really doesn’t seem to be that far from the truth (using broad generalization). I don’t think it’s all that great of a leap.
And to get a bit off-topic, it has always amazed me that so many gay men are, and are attracted to, effeminate men. Likewise with butch lesbians. In nature, animals are often attracted to each other by gender-specific attributes, so I would think that gay men would like overly masculine men and lesbians would be attracted to overly feminine women. I don’t expect any answers, it’s just always plagued my mind. ![]()
Not sure how old you are but before the age of the internet, I don’t think people made the correlation between bullying and suicide. Especially against gays.
Now a days with a free flowing exchange of information, people are starting to realize: “Holy shit! This really is a problem!”
No, they aren’t.
You are an idiot.
I would argue with you, but it would be pointless, because you are too dumb to understand anything I would say. The only hope for you is this: Get out into the world. Meet real people. Then you may see how stupid you sound.
