Mid 80s I was told about a political group that was right-wing and anti-intellectual, and the name of the group had something to do with ducks. I’m trying to remember it now.
I found this reference to a group of “Duck Clubs” that were active in the 80’s and seem to fit the description. It is hard to google it further though.
Duck as in, “if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, you got a duck”?
Funny, I thought it was noted pinko journalist Dan Rather who said that.
