I just stopped at Wal mart to buy a gallon of antifreeze. My daughters car sprung a leak in a heater hose.
I was a little surprised at the high price of the first display and told my wife we would just see what else they had.
Well that first display was the “best” price but the stuff was not the stuff I am used to buying.
It was in the same familiar plastic jug.But it was premixed! Now that is scary. I would have bought it and mixed it 50/50 like I have for years had it not been for my wife saying “Hey this stuff is mixed”.
To make things worse there was only about a dollar difference in the price of the premixed and straight stuff.

So be careful there folks.

Anyone want a quick tip on how to make an emergency repair to a leaky radiator?

Take a cigarette, lick your fingertip and run the fingertip up the seam (where the paper overlaps) of the cigarette, almost to the top. You should then be able to tear it down like a zipper, exposing the tobacco.

Dump the tobacco directly into the radiatior. Put the cap back on, but do not close it all the way, just push it down and twist a little, so its seated.

This will plug some pretty good-size holes.
