Our car has been leaking antifreeze. I understand there are two types – ethylene glycol and proylene glycol. I don’t know which type we have – it’s Prestone 50/50 prediluted, but I can’t find a list of ingredients online. My understanding is, both are hazardous, although ethylene glycol seesm to be more immediately poisonous.
It appears to have partially dried – a sticky film, as my wife described it. It spilled on an asphalt parking lot surface.
Dump a little warm water on it, use a brush or broom to mix it up a bit, then dump some kitty litter over it and let it soak up. Once it’s all been absorbed, you just sweep up the litter and put it in a garbage bag. That should get enough of it not to be a concern, but if you want you can wash down the area with a hose.
