Any 1980's/1990's cartoon shows that were NOT just 30 minute commercials?

IIRC, one of the voices on “The Real Ghostbusters” was also the voice of Garfield the Cat. He was always wise-cracking and saying stuff kind of under his breath.

I think it changed when Garfield became a full time cartoon, and not just the occasional 30 minute prime time special.

Also, here’s one to get stuck in your head:
Gummi bears. . .bouncing here and there and EV-REE-WHERE
something adventure that’s beyond compare
We are the gummi bears

Does anyone remember “Beverly Hills Teens” from the 80’s?

I try not to.

“and they can dance, dance, dance all through the night- in Beverly Hills.”

Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers was a fun show. Much better than average as far as writing, it was sure to have at least one gut-buster per episode.

Example:

Ranger: “What do you know about the murder?”
Suspect: “It was successful.”

Yes. But so vaguely that I always thought I imagined it.

On the anime front—Star Blazers.

The late Lorenzo Music did the voice of the animated Garfield as well as the animated Peter Venkman from Real Ghostbusters. Interestingly, Bill Murray, who played Venkman in the two Ghostbusters movies, did the voice of the CGI Garfield in the more recent movies.
