Any album collectors out there? Rolling Stones fans?

Does anyone out there know how I can determine the value of two absolutely unique record albums?

One of them is hand labeled “Led Zeppelin Test Pressing” on a plain, white cover. One one side is a copy of side two of Led Zeppelin’s first (self-titled) album. The other side has a single of a disco song that I’m not familiar with that sounds kind of like Donna Summers. The disc itself is unlabeled.

The other album is two discs containing six Rolling Stones songs. A couple of them were on the Love You Live album released in 1977; the other four were released on other albums, but I don’t know if they are the same versions as those released. The album is labeled as a “Master Reference” for Atlantic Records, and the discs have a Sterling Sounds label on one side. The producer was Eddie Kramer. One of the discs is blank on the other side, the other side of the second disc contains a partial recording of the songs on the first disc.

These things have been kicking around our house for many years, and we’ve always wondered if they are worth something. It’s not something you can look up on EBay, since they are unique. So, does anyone know if they’re worth something, or are they garbage? How could we find out?

This guy wants $2500 for his but since he has -zero- bids it could be worth $5.

Huh, that’s interesting, that’s pretty close to the Led Zeppelin one we have. The difference is that ours is only side two and it has some disco song on the other side. The labels on the disc are blank.

Try asking John Marshall.

That fact alone means it’s not original, or course.

I did some googling and figured out that the song on the back is Hooked For Life, by the Trammps.
