I never thought of comparing GWB to Caligula before, but now that you mention it…
Gephardt as president? Don’t make me puke. I would vote for Bush over Gephardt.
Personally, if there aren’t any catastrophic political blunders made by Bush, I would be willing to vote for him depending on who else runs.
I would vote for him.
I did not vote for him the last time, and I am highly unlikely to vote for him in '04.
Please!!! That is much too easy.
Really test your character, your mettle, if you will. How about an asparagus/chocolate syrup sandwich or Junior Bush? Huh, big boy, now who would you vote for?
“I am here to make an announcement that this Thursday, ticket counters and airplanes will fly out of Ronald Reagan Airport.” —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Oct. 3, 2001
All you “never-elected-in-the-first-place” people, get over it. He won the election.
Yeah, until a viable alternative (which has yet to be forthcoming from the Dems or anyone else), I’d vote for him. Who else is a credible challenger at the moment (ignoring, of course, that we’re not anywhere the heat of the primaries, whence the challengers eliminate many of their competitors)?
This all sounds a bit more IMHO than GD, BTW.
I did vote for him, and will do so again in '04. There are a mere handful of Democrats that I would willingly vote for, none of who seem to be running.
The only way I would vote for Bush is if the Democrats nominate someone they know will not be popular, based on the hope that everyone will be so sick of Bush that they will win by default.
In other words, the reverse of the California governor’s race.
I’kk probably vote for him again.
And the KKK’ll probably vote for him again.
Brilliant.
Unless the Democrats put up a canidate that is pro-life, pro-gun rights, anti-enviromentalist, and agrees with me on most other issues, I will probably vote for Bush come 2004.
Given a choice between voting Bush and being shot in the face, I’d get shot.
I’ll probably vote for him again, especially since I’ve seen the Dem candidate pool and I’m not impressed.
But that’s a ways off, and anything could happen.
And if the OP is asking a legitimate question and wants answers instead of sarcastic cracks, then maybe it would be good form not to crack back on people who answered that they would indeed vote for Bush. Just a thought.
Otherwise, this is a Bush-and-Bush-supporters bashing thread and belongs in the Pit.
Put in another vote for food over Bush.
I haven’t always been enthusiastic about the way Bush has handled things, but I can’t imagine myself voting for any of the Democrats… so yes, I’m almost certainly voting for Bush again.
It depends who runs againest him and how the next two years go.
Once again, we see the true political mettle of Americans. Those who like getting tough with the world (i.e., self-destructive little buggers) or who have Conservative agendas blind to what candidate the party puts forward vote for Bush.
People who have watched what Bush has done to this country will vote against him.
And people who dont like either party feel compelled to choose the lesser of two evils instead of VOTING FOR SOMEONE THEY FRICK’N BELIEVE IN. Jesus.
