Wasn’t Cornell in charge of administering the Arecibo Telescope?
I am a bit curious…what’s the web-link to the archive?
-thanks
try NASA/ADS, and search on Phobos in the Title or Keyword fields. You’ll get some random stuff, but my stuff is from the last year or two. Or you could search on my last name (Rivkin). It’s “Infrared Spectrophotometry of Phobos”, or something similar…
The archive’s really a great resource for astronomical publications other than mine, too.
I talked to the GA who teaches my lab last night (I’m proud of myself. We did a moon viewing lab and when it was over shy little me asked if I could stay and look at stuff through one of the 8" telescopes.) Anyway, he said that Academic advisors tend to screw things up and that he had always wanted to be an astronomer but has now decided to do some sort of physics (I can’t remember what kind). He said that once you become a graduate (am I using that correctly?) you just see what everyone does and figure what you like then pick an advisor from the department. He also told me a person I should talk to to see about what I need to do in terms of classes and stuff. I feel better now that I’ve talked (face to face) with someone.
I think I might double major w/ physics. Who knows!
BTW we looked at the Ring nebula, Saturn and Jupiter. He couldn’t find the Andromada Galaxy but I was in heaven.
