Any comprehensive county-by-county voting sites?

Specifically, a site that offers results from the last 20+ years. I’m looking for voting totals and party wins in each of the zillion counties, by state, of national elections. Local elections aren’t needed, but would like results of Govenor, Senate, Representative and Presidential races on a county by county basis.

Thanks for any help.

Wow - you’re asking a helluva lot. Some of what you need is here, giving the electoral college results. If you really need to go down to individual vote tallies for individual counties, you’re probably going to have to do a lot of the research yourself, wading through old newspapers.

The US Election Atlas is a spectacular resource. They have stuff broken down by county as well as congressional district.

I stand corrected

Thanks friedo! That’s exactly what I was looking for.

GorrilaMan, you get honorable mention for making an effort.

They do charge a bit. You might also poke around at some universities that are known for their poli sci data collections. Start with U-Mich Ann Arbor.

Don’t pay a dime. Instead, dash off to your local library, head for the reference section, and check out the America Votes series by Richard Scammon. The current biennial volume is Number 25. It has exactly what you are looking for.

Unless you need it in electronic format, of course.
