Another thing I’d suggest is that you make sure your clothes are scrupulously clean, and your house is clean and smells nice, as well.
My sister has a tomcat which sprays (yuck) and her house smelled of cat. It got to the point that all her clothes also smelled, even though the cat wasn’t anywhere near them. She was completely unaware of it. I t may be something in your environment which is causing the smell which you can’t detect.
You may also want to get your teeth cleaned properly by a dental hygienist and have your sinuses and tonsils checked out - bad teeth, blocked sinuses and tonsil infections can cause bad breath.
Yes, yes you are. And I say that as someone who read her copy of Shogun to tatters and had to buy another.
Definitely make sure it isn’t your clothes or something - there’s somebody I know casually who seems to be a cat hoarder, and he reeks of cat. It’s his clothes.
Additionally, in another thread we had recently several Dopers testified that chlorophyll pills worked for them. But see a doctor first.
In a past thread another Doper* mentioned something that makes a great deal of sense: change your towels regularly, even daily. Towels get bacteria on them too and rubbing yourself with yesterday’s bacteria-ridden towel is like rubbing yourself with…well, a bacteria-ridden towel.
While you’re at it, make sure you add a couple tablespoons of liquid bleach into your laundry to kill bacteria and dry them immediately rather than letting them sit in a washer and grow mildew.
Seeing a doctor is most important though.
