I LOVE raw garlic… in the moment I am actually eating it. But the price for that pleasure is 24-48 hours not merely of bad breath, which I don’t mind since I’m not around people all that much, but that nasty-post-raw-garlic taste in your mouth that simple mouthwash and toothpaste don’t seem to penetrate and which is really fucking unpleasant.
Swish with baking soda right after eating? Eat some obscure plant I’ve never heard of that exists only for this purpose? Skater chicken bones, do a little sacrificial boogie and beg the gods?
Whenever I eat a gyro, I can’t get the garlic flavor out of my mouth until the next morning and I have a cup of coffee. Then it is gone.
I also use cream and sugar. Not sure if that has any effect.
I do know that some of the fancy perfume counters my wife drags me to will have a bowl of coffee beans to sniff between perfume samples. It’s suppose to clear the palate or something.
