I was all of 4 at the time, 1957. I’ve wondered what happened to my Aunt and Uncle that lived there, but I’m sure thet have passed away. Could you get the phone number for county records for me?

Well near is a realitive scale. If we are talking state than I live far away from you, I live in PA. If we are looking at the world, than I am alot closer. If we look at the Universe we are practically the same point. But for the purposes here I am going to say no I don’t live anywhere near you.

Oh wow! I wish I’d known, we spent the night in South Bend on our way to and from Minnesota in July.

Seriously, though, are there any Dopers living in Indiana? If so, where, in Indiana? If you live in a nearby state, I am interested in knowing if there is any Dopers within a 150 mile radius of me.

What division? I can get you the number but I need to know what you are looking for. coroner? building dept? archives? courthouse? etc

I live in Dayton, OH. I’ts about an hour’s drive to Richmond (for FIREWORKS!)

I went to Purdue, but I graduated in '79… and I’ve not been back, so I guess it doesn’t count. But most of my hubby’s relatives are Hoosiers.

Indiana is simply a state of mind. As such, I live extremely close to you on some levels, and very very far away on others.
