So I’m in the market for a new minivan and I was rate shopping my local banks as well as some national ones with online loan offers (Capital One, etc) and it looked like eloan had a pretty decent rate for a new car loan.
Does anyone here have any experiance with them? Rave reviews or horror stories?
I’ll take other recommendations if ya gots 'em as well.
Last Feb. I went online to Eloan and applied for a used car loan on a sunday. They let me know monday morning that it was approved and I had the check in my hands the next day (I paid $15.00 for overnight delivery). At that point there is no obligation until you negotiate the check. I went to the dealership, they filled out the simple paperwork according to the instructions which came with the check and I walked out with the car. Forty-five days later eloan debited my bank account for the first payment (you get the lowest rate if you let them debit; against my religion but for the half point I relented). It was absolutely the easiest loan process I’ve ever gone through. I have an excellent credit rating so that helped I’m sure. It was the lowest rate of several I checked (4.85%/60 months). Good luck.
