I think it would be good to have someone to keep track of the books. We need every transaction to be noted, and I figure this position could br rolled into the money-market speculator.
We also need to lay down some kind of structure regarding profit sharing for members of the group – how each of us will be paid, what percentage of the group each of us owns, etc. I’m about as business-savvy as a brick, so I wouldn’t really know where to start.
I just friended the org and donated 5 gold. I don’t have a ton of free time so I think working out on the edge would be better then getting a pivotal role. I think organizing some of the smuggling might be right but I can do the item transfers. I’m up for anything though.
Heck if we decide what country we eventually want to rule I can start saving up to move there and begin gain some local cred.
Speaking of which I just read that Estonia, Latvia, I forget the third Baltic state. This should be a prime place for us to take over. There is no existing government and no other countries can attack for a while (Day 550). I’m thinking about moving there, since it’s free but I’m not sure how their economies are setup.
It’s free to move there? Do you think they’ll have any more amenities, 'cuz I’m losing more wellness from work and training than I’m getting from food (and there’s no hospital in eSlovakia).
Get to a level 6 so you can fight in some wars and use the hospitals. Should give you a big boost in wellness. Until then, friend me and I’ll send you a q1 food. My name is shanttu2 on eRepublik.
One of us is misunderstanding something. I have plenty of Q1 food, but my country does not have wars or hospitals. Do you mean if I fight for a foreign country as a mercenary, I can use their hospitals?
I am one of 9 employees at a Q1 oil company. I had an 11.39 productivity this morning with an included 50% work bonus also my wellness as 98.04 and I had a 2.7 in land. I’m not sure if they count productivity before or after the numbers change but those were before
I doubt they have any amenities since they are brand new they don’t even have a congress to build a hospital. Food prices seem reasonable and if your land skill is over two you can afford Q2 food so you will quit losing wellness. They can’t be in wars for a little while just to give them time to set up the country.
I don’t think it would be worth moving there just to improve your wellness but if you want to join the military or any of the non-basic stuff there were only 63 people in eLithuania last night so there are lots of opportunities
I just tried to move to Latvia and was told that I needed a moving ticket. I went back and reread the announcement of the countries creation and it says they are letting us move there for free. Any ideas?
At Eagles Lumber, where I am one of the optimal 10 employees, with land skill 2.8 and wellness 96.05: I had an original productivity 8.18 and a work bonus of 50% for a total productivity of 12.27.
Now that the org has some working capital, I guess it’s time to get seriouser. I’m not sure it makes more sense to buy an existing company vs. creating one, especially if we’re leaning towards a “field” company (iron/oil/grain). I’ve looked at some of the companies for sale and these are the only two recent ones that seem remotely interesting:
I could be wrong but I thought we decided to not build a “field” company but instead were going to go with a secondary company. Either way I think we need to start fresh there is nothing that we can buy that we can’t build ourselves
It wasn’t clear to me what direction we were headed; people were discussing Land productivity in some detail, rather than manufacturing.
If we were to open a weapons company (or possibly an iron company then a weapons company), I see three regions of promise (assuming we want our weapons co. near high iron areas):
Indonesian Karnataka, high iron, pop. 417
Romanian West-Siberian, high iron, Q5 hospital, pop. 445
Romanian Podolia, high iron, Q5 hospital, pop. 1500
I started the land discussion thing because ** Chessic Sense ** asked me to run figures for wepons gifts and iron to see if we would be better off creating a gift company to hand them out to employees in exchange for a reduced salary.
And since the cost I calculated for Iron seemed weird given the price of Iron in Indonesia, I asked people working in land to give me their daily production so that I could try to find out what I might have done wrong. And actually, indeed, I would have needed to the number of employees in the company, and forgot to ask. Fortunately, two posters mentioned it.
Also, you didn’t send a friend request, ** Raza ** . I had forgotten myself and just added me.
I sent 3.5 gold, and I’m waiting for some currencies to be sold on the MM to send the missing 1.5. At this point we already have 38.5 gold. I assume it would be better not to let them sleep for too long.
I’m a little short on time tonight…I’ll try to chime in again later.
