Any fans of The Mighty Boosh here?

For those of you who don’t know, The Mighty Boosh is a comedy series on BBC3 created by Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding, two very talented and sexy men. You can find episodes on YouTube. It started out as a stage show before appearing on TV, and they still tour with it.

Has anyone else only found out about it recently? I live in Canada and I had never heard of it before this summer. My two coworkers started quoting “The Legend of Old Gregg” and after weeks of hearing about it I finally watched it. It’s quirky and bizarre, and I highly recommend it, although I understand it’s not for everyone. Weird thing is, after I had seen Old Gregg it seemed like everyone I knew had also recently seen it. I’m not quite sure why it suddenly got so popular, although I hypothesize that someone finally got around to uploading the show onto YouTube and the viral effect took over.

Does anyone have a favorite episode/line/character? The Legend of Old Gregg will always be special because it was the first one I saw, but every single episode is great. I couldn’t even begin to pick a favorite line, but my favorite character is probably Vince Noir.

On a side note, my best friend and I are making a Boosh pilgrimage to London this February (not just for The Mighty Boosh, we’ve been wanting to take a trip together and we both want to go to England). Any suggestions of things to do/see in the week that we’ll be there?

Just for fun, I give you The Soup Song.

Here’s one.

My favourite character is The Hitcher, from the last one of series 1. “It’s coming aat of me like a rope!”
