Any forensic pathologists here?

Fair enough. Not everyone owns the complete series on DVD.

For what it’s worth, the first episode is called “Go Fight City Hall… to the Death”, which pretty much sums up the series.

I liked Quincy a lot. My favorite Quincy moment is when they were reconstructing the identity of a skull found in the desert. After a reconstructive anthropologist finished with it, it looked like a mannequin head. Quincy had his theory, so he slaps on a wig which matches his suspected victim’s hairstyle, and “Voila! A match!”.

I was but a lad at the time. One of my early inklings that the science of TV land might not be very rigorous, even if not science fiction. Of course Quincy had nothing on today’s shows (I’m looking at you, ‘Bones’).

Hmmm, still no OP.

I did send the OP a PM a few days ago reporting that a forensic pathologist has arrived, but (s)he’s been absent from SDMB since shortly after posting.

Most disappointing.

OP’s only previous post was in 2014 so I guess s/he has slow reflexes.

But considering his history, not unexpected.

Maybe they taste tested the ricin first.
