Any Good Recent Question and Answer Trivia Books?

I found this site many many years ago via Usenet’s Cecil Adams group and I found that because I read the Straight Dope books. I loved those books and I found those because I really enjoyed books that gave trivia in the format where people would receive questions from readers and provide answers. Other ones I read and reread included Imporderables and Why Things Are.

I know the Internet has really put a damper on this genre but are there any more recent books of this type out there you would recommend?

Not *exactly *what you’re looking for, but worth mentioning:

What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions, by Randall Munroe (of the xkcd webcomic).

The New Scientist publishes books of its “last word” column, such as Why Don’t Penguins Feet Freeze. That’s an early one - there are many others, the first one is “Does Anything Eat Wasps”, I think.

Well worth a look.
