You have to go into that sort of detail in cites in your briefs? wow. I usually just cite to the reporter series with the widest circulation that has the case, usually include the neutral cite, toss in a page number, and that’s it.

No. I was advocating not leaving one’s computer/notes lying around where someone could hide or destroy them. I was an editor, and for every write-on there’s a sob story. If it’s a closed problem the sources are either probably all pre-printed in a packet, or easily available online anyway.
