Any help with Google Play refund?

I signed up for Speechify on Google Play. I did the free trial, which would be billed at a hundred bucks when it expired.

I canceled it the same minute I bought it so I wouldn’t accidentally get billed. I accidentally got billed.

I sent the documentation that I had canceled it, and the rep/bot assured me that I would receive a refund with two weeks.

Cut to three weeks, no refund. I got back in touch to ask what was up, and they sent me a screen cap documentation that they had sent the money back to Google Play.

A few weeks later, still not received. And GPlay doesn’t appear to have any customer resources in place. Stumped.

Anyone with any knowledge or suggestions?

Dispute it with your credit card company.

Ok. I looked at Googleplay. They will refund a wrong charge.

Theres a 48hour time limit.
And a further time of 7 days, but you have to contact them through the website.

The refund to the original payment method. If Paypal, you probably lost.
If a personal debit card or credit card you still have a chance, thru your card.

I believe the 3 weeks you mention are gonna be the downfall.

It’s a debit. I disputed it with my bank.

The time frame ran out because the CS entity i was communicating with kept telling that i would receive it in “15 business days,” which is 3 weeks.
