So far I have alternate contact information for 3 players, and country preferences for 3 players (although not the same three.) Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

After checking my schedule for the next several weeks, I have to drop out. Omni, you can have my place.
My schedule will be much more stable after the wedding and honeymoon.
Congratulations on the wedding and honeymoon! Yes, I do recommend that for a stable marriage the honeymoon should be free of Diplomacy.

Looking at how my PM box is filling up, I’ll send everyone my email address for orders.
I’d hate to have the box fill up, meaning someone couldn’t get their orders in. 
But the option is open for anyone to choose for their email to be kept private and use PMs as the game contact mode. I won’t reveal your email address unless you want me to.
So far I have received contact methods from 5 of our 10 players, and country preferences from 4 of our 10. 
And even better, no 2 players have yet specified the same country as their top choice. This could be really easy!
Keep the good stuff rolling in folks, we’ll want to start negotiating soon.
For those of you who are new to the game, don’t worry too much about country preferences.
If the play balance in this variant is successful, it should be more important whether you’re a good diplomat or not, rather than which country you start with.

wevets - Is there any way that when you’re posting the updates for the game you can use the full region names rather than abbreviations? If not, it’s OK, I’ll manage, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask. :3

Yeah - I can post the full names of provinces/seas, since it’s a variant with an alternate map, this will probably be helpful to many players.
Damn. I’d have loved to have gotten in on this one. Never played a variant before. I’ll be watching with interest.
