Any Italians here? How do you say oregano?

In American it’s oh-REG-ah-no. In British it’s oh-re-GAH-no. What’s it in Italian?

It’s “origano” in Italian, but I think it’s closer to the American version.

However, it seems the word is Spanish in origin.
