Yes. It’s a site I check every other day.
I was introduced to it by a post from another Doper, and spent the next five or six hours reading through the archives. It’s fascinating to see how he manages to present a strongly Christian message, in a format which would give fundies heart attacks. And I’m currently wondering who the heck Jack is telling the current story to, and what that person is doing in the background, and whether Jatter is managing to expand his options beyond the “Heaven or Purgatory” he had before entering the suffrance zone.
I’m always worried that some office-mate will look over my shoulder and ask about it, though… How do you explain that it’s a furry webcomic about Hell, without getting funny looks?
It’s been awhile since I’ve read any of it, but I was pretty dang impressed.
…Not that I can bring myself to read any more of it, though. In between the heartbreaking plots, the completely and fundamentally ghastly theology—it makes H.P. Lovecraft sound like H.R. Pufnstuf. And Milton’s God look like Friar Tuck.—and the vast, ever-running story arcs…I just don’t have the strength to get wrapped up in it.
