I gotta say, I haven’t been exactly loving the Simpsons for a while now, but this Lego edition they’re airing tonight has my interests peaked.

It was OK, which is par for the course for the show these days… I think they now run the Simpsons in its current lineup because American Dad and Family Guy make it look good in comparison.
Since it was about Lego-Homer being unsure of the nature of reality all the “Philip K. Brick” novels at the Comic Book Guy’s store were especially clever.
I thought it was a step up from their past seasons, episode-wise. There was some heart in the story with Homer and Lisa and the B plot fit in and was pretty good at the resolution. There were some Lego jokes but the show didn’t lean on them way more than necessary. I also liked the Phillip K. Brick joke (Brick joke?)
