The rate at which these ads are played on Australian TV is just horrifying. I’ve also been able to witness, first hand, their insidious viral spread - from a handful of minority pay TV channels, to all pay TV channels, to free to air channels, to banner ads.
Makes me want to inflict some horrible violence against those responsible, especially now that I know it’s an international thing.
And to make matters worse - it is, or is soon to be, the Number 1 single in the UK - outselling whatever that whiny piece of crap from Coldplay is by 4 to 1.
