The title pretty much says it all: Are there Dopers out there with outsider artists in their families and/or social circles?
I don’t mean self-described artists/writers/musicians who either live off their art or intend to do so in the future, but proper outsider artists: That eccentric grandmother who’d paint blood-red cats all through the weekends, or the half-crazy uncle who’d sing his odd little ditties when he thought no one was listening.
Mental illness and/or major eccentricity is, of course, a big plus. 
And if you personally consider the art in question absolutely awesome, perhaps even worth publishing, then that’s certainly a plus, too.
