Any Pro Wrestling Fans in the Audience? (Multiple promotions) (Part 2)

Rhea Ripley won the Women’s Chamber; AJ Lee won the Women’s Intercontinental Title; and CM Punk retained the World Heavyweight Title. Danhausen was indeed in the crate.

It was indeed Danhausen in the box.

Logan Paul eliminated three men in the Chamber before a masked man came out and climbed the outside of the cage.

Security came out to grab him, and he was unmasked and nobody knew who he was. Then a second masked man arrived, went into the Chamber, and hit Paul with the Stomp. He took off his mask, and it was Seth Rollins.

Rhodes and Orton were left. Drew McIntyre came out and attacked Rhodes, but was beaten back by the other two men. Then Orton quickly hit the RKO on Cody - AND WON.

I didn’t see that coming. But I’m pleasantly surprised.

Drew McIntyre will defend the WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes Friday on SmackDown.

On RAW, Judgement Day made the mistake of stepping up to Danhausen, and the latter put a curse on Dominik Mysterio. So naturally he lost the Intercontinental Title to Penta when he tried to cheat.

This is Penta’s first title in WWE.

My fear about Danhausen in WWE was that the creative team wouldn’t understand his “schlocky late-night horror movie host” persona and would just turn him into another comedy jobber.

This assuages my fears slightly, but we’ll see how he’s doing in six months. I don’t think he’s ever gonna be main-eventing Wrestlemania, but he certainly has solid midcard potential.

Just booked my ticket for AEW’s next trip to the Pacific Northwest! They’re doing a 2-week stay here in mid-April, one in Everett north of Seattle, and the following week in Portland. I sadly can’t afford to do both right now since either one would be an overnighter, so I picked Everett since I’ve never been there before and it’s cheaper to get there and back from here ($12 round-trip by bus and light rail vs. $50-$75 to Portland and back via Amtrak). It’s a live Dynamite followed by a Collision taping, so I’ll be getting about 4 hours or so of live wrestling.

I agree, he won’t main-event WrestleMania, but there is plenty of value in people who will be career midcarders.
