For real, though. By making Mox and Danielson bleed in every match, it really cheapens it.
Exactly. Now we’ll have to see someone lose a limb to get excited about it.
this popped up on my “things you might wanna buy” list
The problem with aew is it’s booked like someone playing a 20-year-old ecw/wcw crossover video game. from when they were 14 … they know there’s blood violence but is missing out on the details of how and why it mattered back then …
Too lazy to find the source, but I read something online (so you know it’s true!) that NXT UK is being folded into NXT 2.0, which is then going back to black and gold and essentially being NXT 3.0 and will include bringing back some of the people who were cut recently.
INTERESTING. IF. TRUE.
NXT UK is going on hiatus soon. Early next year, the plan is to roll out NXT Europe.
Is that why NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate got in Bron Breakker’s face?
I personally think Drew McIntyre represents the biggest threat to Reigns’s title that he’s ever had, and I think Drew takes the title in Wales.
Ninja’d in post 355.
Kevin Owens vs. Chad Gable on RAW was good!
RAW isn’t perfect, but it is so, so much better now that VKM isn’t steering the show. Longer matches, more finishes (even if some make no sense - I’m looking at you Lashley/Styles vs Miz/Ciampa). Most superstars sound better without a hard script, though I think Stratus was floundering waiting for Bailey to come out (though she recovered in the back-and-forth). “Booker of the Year” should be taking notes.
Johnny Gargano is back! Hunter’s re-hiring streak continues.
never change bubba ray although you might wanna read this one quick because it slid past msns censor for language and they might catch it
The worst censoring I saw in that article was “pu**y.”
I don’t get it. Is Bully Ray in kayfabe or not here?
As if the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title tournament wasn’t already a bit of a clusterfuck because original participants Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons were removed due to medical reasons, now Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin has suffered an injury, necessitating that team’s removal from the tournament. The fourth semifinal slot will be decided in a Fatal Four-Way match on this coming SmackDown, presumably between the four losers of the quarterfinals matches: Tamina and Dana Brooke; Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop; Xia Li and Shotzi; and Natalya and Sonya Deville.
All this could be moot if HHH is secretly bringing back Sasha and Naomi.
Well, if he is, it’s the worst-kept secret in wrestling.
An update on Big E:
“I’d be cleared to live a normal life and I am cleared to live a normal life but I’m not cleared to be taking off and hitting suicide spears and to be taking back bumps. The nature of what we do is very physical and involves your neck and your spine and I’d like to keep that as intact as possible.”
His career might be over, then. But he may eventually get to the point where he can live without pain, I hope.
You know, he’d be a great manager.
And now for some positive wrestling news.
It should be a Fatal Five-Way, but I guess if a team has already won a match, in WWE-World, they don’t qualify for the loser’s bracket. Anyhoo, hard to predict a winner - three heel teams and one that is neither heel nor face but is just…there. Feel bad for Dolin and Stark, not so much for Lyons, who has taken to twitter to say it was NOT vaccine-related. I seem to remember Jax saying the same thing before then admitting it was.
NXT’s upcoming Worlds Collide event on Sunday, September 4 will mark an official end to NXT UK, as the NXT UK men’s and women’s championships will be unified into their NXT counterparts.
NXT Champion Bron Breakker will battle United Kingdom champion Tyler Bate, and NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose will defend against NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satamura and Blair Davenport in a triple-threat match.
Presumably the NXT UK Tag Team Titles will be unified as well.
