Any quickbooks experts?

I currently do payroll for a company and I use Creative solutions payroll software and it works fine.

But I am also still using Quickbooks 2000 (I also still have a flip phone) so I then have to enter all of their checks manually into their check register.

Which version of Quickbooks should I get where the payroll checks will automatically go into the check register? And I will also have to restore all the QB 2000 into the new QBOOKS.

I have Quickbooks Pro and I do have to enter all of the checks manually using the “Pay Employees” function - but it does all of the withdrawing for me and also enters the checks into the register.

So, not sure if you are asking for something that will automatically do paychecks for you every week, or if you are saying you have to enter data twice and want to just enter it once. If it’s the latter, Quickbooks Pro does this.

do you have the QB Pro with enhanced payroll or just QB PRO?

Ah yeah, you do need to subscribe to their payroll service to get the tax tables and stuff, and have it automated. I’ve subscribed as long as I’ve used Quickbooks (since about 2002) so I forgot about it. We did upgrade to their direct deposit service maybe 5 years ago.
