U2 Kicks off “U2 Elevation Tour 2001” March 24 in Miami

As promised, registered members of U2.COM will be the first to see official
U2 tour dates - and have the chance to buy the first tickets on sale in
North America.

Visit http://www.u2.com/ now and get the confirmed dates and cities for the
“U2 Elevation Tour 2001” North American Tour, the band’s first arena tour
since 1992.

U2.com have an unique offer for registered members only - a chance to
purchase your U2 tickets before anyone else! This Saturday January 13th, 6
North American shows* go on sale. However, as from tomorrow, Wednesday
January 10th, a limited number of tickets will be on sale to U2.com members
from Ticketmaster.com. You’ll need to be quick though as the tickets are
available on a first come first served basis.

*6 shows on sale
MIAMI - National Car Rental Center - MARCH 24th
CHICAGO - United Center - MAY 12th
TORONTO - Air Canada Center - MAY 24th
DETROIT - The Palace - MAY 30th
BOSTON - Fleetcenter - JUNE 5th
PHILADELPHIA - First Union Center - JUNE 11th

  1. U2.com members can contact Ticketmaster online from Wednesday January
    10th at 10am (local North American timezone) until Friday January 12th, 12
    noon (local North American timezone) and have the opportunity to purchase a
    maximum of 2 tickets.
  2. You will need to provide your registered email address and the secure
    password provided to you by U2.com via email tomorrow, Wednesday 10th.
  3. Only tickets for the U2 show dates in Miami, Chicago, Toronto, Detroit,
    Boston and Philadelphia listed above* will be on sale during this period.
    4 WE HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS IN THE DIFFERENT TICKET PRICES
    AVAILABLE. THEY ARE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. We apologise in
    advance if you are unsuccessful in obtaining a ticket for the show you
    require, please note you will have the opportunity to buy at the public
    onsale on January 13th.
  4. Ticket orders are subject to normal Ticketmaster online conditions and
    charges.

The remaining “U2 Elevation Tour 2001” North American shows will be on sale
over the coming weeks. U2.com will continue to provide its registered
members with the opportunity to purchase online in advance - you will be
notified next week of the new details and password.
