It is a cheap digital picture frame. The problem is that you can only download new pictures by paying a monthly fee and going through the ceiva website.

Has anyone ever heard of a way to hack a ceiva so that I could upload new pictures directly from my computer instead?
I’m sure it is possible to get around their Website’s security. The only thing I’m more sure of is that this thread will be locked. The Reader does not endorse threads about illegal activity of any kind.
A friend of mine just bought a Kodak Smart Digital Frame from eBay. It’s sort of like a Ceiva, except it has (had – it’s discontinued) a CompactFlash slot. Dave got it because he doesn’t have local phone service, so a Ceiva was out of the question. If you don’t already have a Ceiva, it may be what you’re looking for.

I am not talking about hacking their website. I just want to use the picture frame without having to go through the website. Also, I expect the company to go out of buisness soon, in which case I would be screwed.
Nonetheless, you are trying to violate the agreement you made when you acquired the product.
