My boyfriend suscribes to it and one day I read it. I loved it! It’s funny and has great articles. The pictures of the women aren’t for me but hey, I just skip those. I just suscribed to it. Any other girls out there read it?
I love that magazine! We don’t have a subscription, but I buy it often enough.
My wife reads it. I do not… well, very much.
I love to read Maxim! The writing is wonderful and it is very entertaining. It sure beats the standard women’s magazines. Plus, the pictures aren’t bad either!
Nope, never tried it, should I? I personally get lots of giggles out of reading Men’s Health…
I don’t remember if it was “Maxim” or not, but I remember picking up a magazine which featured an article which was supposed to reveal the secrets of scoring with women.
It’s suggestion? Be rich.

I snag it from DeathLlama’s roommate and scour over it before he even sees it, usually (and amusingly, that roomie’s girlfriend hates that he gets it). I think it’s a fascinating and honestly entertaining magazine with a cool look.
And hey, I notice the chicks.
Ah yes, I was reading Maxim just the other day.
Sometimes I go visit my brother just to sit on his couch and read his magazines.
I’m such a bad sister.
Whereas, a Real Man would never read an issue of Cosmo
he’d just look at the lingerie ads.
Add me to the list of women who read Maxim! Discovered it last year (the british version) and fell in love with the sarcastic frat boy style humor and writing.
Bought a subscription for my husband.
How can you not love a magazine that teaches you how to make a lobster stand on its head or fight a duel. Won’t get quality articles like that in Redbook, lemmetellyou!

Great for at work browsing. They take you to some pretty cool sites, and they all come up as maxim in the browser history.
Personally I always preferred Details. Funnier and much sexier. Details couldn’t compete with Maxim and folded last year; it’s set to start in a few months as some other incarnation.
Are you all happy?! Ohmigosh, they killed Details!! 
October Details hits the newsstand mid September…300 pages with a much stronger fashion emphasis.

I also read Maxim. Women’s magazines are a little repetitive after a while… like my mom once whispered to me in Waldenbooks: “Eh, seen one orgasm article, you’ve seen 'em all.”
She’d die if she knew I just repeated that. 
I find Maxim a little sophomoric, though not nearly as trashy as Cosmo. What little I’ve seen of GQ was not so bad, and it actually had more to say on the subject of men’s clothing than Maxim or Details. Details was sort of a Gen-X GQ.
However, at the bookstore yesterday I saw an issue of GQ with a swimsuit cover. I have no objections in principle to such covers, but I think of GQ as about men’s looks, not women’s. It’s not as though GQ readers couldn’t get cheescake shots elsewhere in the magazine rack. Maybe I misunderstand how these publications work.
I adore Maxim, I find it the most entertaining magazine. My brother hates the fact that I’m always taking it and reading it, I find the women’s articles to be quite true and find that all the other aryticles, if not relevant to my live are at least fun and a welcome amusement. I find it much better than most of the magazines out there for women.
Talk about damning with faint praise.
