Anybody Drive a Chrysler "Pacifica"?

I managed to get my SIL away from buying a Landrover. Now, she’s fixated on a Pacifica. I like the design of the car, and it has a lot of room. The interior is pretty nice. Does anybody have experience with them? I’ve heard that some people have had transmission problems with them (CR gives the trannies a low mark).
If you have owned one, would you buy again?

I own one right now, and have no real complaints. I’ve had it for three years, and have had no significant maintenance issues other than the normal wear and tear stuff.

It’s extremely comfortable on long drives. There is a pretty significant blind spot, though, and the rear visibility isn’t great. It takes some getting used to, but it isn’t really an issue for me anymore.

The third row seating is pretty cramped - it’s really only good for kids or really small skinny people. There’s a huge amount of cargo room with the third row folded down - you could fit pretty much whatever you want back there.

I wouldn’t be opposed to buying another one, if they made them. They’ve been discontinued, so if you want one, you’ll have to buy used. I got mine as a leaseback - it had about 25,000 km on it, and the price was half of what I would have paid for new.

I have one, and really like it. But as kathmandu said, they’ve been discontinued which could be a problem with parts in the future.

However, experts say that you should give more weight to CR than from a few individual testimonials, since CR is based on a much greater selection.
