I’ve done it ever since I can remember. And I don’t pop the knuckles in my fingers. Am I too weird to be allowed to breed or do a lot of people do this?
Nope. I do it. I can do it over and over again, too. Mostly my big toes.
Glad to see I ain’t alone.
I do it too. And I dont pop my fingers either.
Mostly its my big toe on both feet. Ive always done it as well, and I can do it a couple times in a row actually. There isnt a whole lot of a sense of relief though, its more a habit.
I do toes and fingers.
Every morning. I stretch my legs and crack my toe-knuckles, then do my wrists. Strangely, my fingers never feel like they need it.
Gotta pop the toes and fingers. Also wrists, elbows, shoulders, lower back.
Ya, I think that’s all.
Wish I could pop my neck, that would be great.
Feet, hands, knees, ankles, some in my back and neck, elbows, wrists, shoulders … of course, most of these aren’t knuckles, but yeah.
Oh, I do my jaw too, just moving it to one side does the trick.
Like iampunha, most of my joints crack. Including my toes.
All the time. Mostly my big toes. My kitten keeps trying to pounce on my toes when I do it, too.
Whew!
Ankles, the three inside toes on both feet (two joints in the second), fingers (two joints in my right thumb), wrists, right shoulder, neck, and jaw. In the words of Garfield: “Another year, another crack.”
Yep. Toes, ankle (left only - the other won’t do it), fingers, neck, back. If it cracks, I pop it.
I do all the joints that iampunha mentions besides elbows (how do you do those?) Feet feel the best in case anyone was wondering.
Sometimes my hips pop but it’s always an accident. I haven’t figured out how to do those intentionally yet.
As for toes…my girlfriend and I often pop each other’s. She likes hers pulled, I like mine pointed down until they pop. She won’t pop my second toe though because it takes two hands (one pulling, one pushing) and is really loud when it finally goes. Feels great though.
I forgot about elbows! I pop mine similar to throwing a punch.
Just noticed that I forgot knees too.
I sometimes squeeze and bend my toes to make them crack. Loosens up the tootsies nicely, it does.
I also have arthritis in my left ankle (I sprained it pretty severely when I was in high school, and the trauma hastened the degeneration of the joint). It tends to get a tight feeling to it, and when I flex it, it cracks and loosens up. Sometimes, I swear, it sounds like a rifle shot. But it feels so goooooood.
Really? I could’ve sworn I was the only person who could do that. I can also pop my jaw when I open my mouth really wide, which, depending on how I do it, can either be discrete or make an obnoxious popping sound. I don’t know if that’s the same thing as popping knuckles, though. It’s probably not good for me. I can only do it on the right side of my jaw for some reason, but I can do it repeatedly.
I didn’t really think about it until others mentioned it, but I sometimes crack my ankles also, and occasionally my elbows. I know a guy who actually pops his spine all the time. It’s kind of funny, he just twists his body until it makes a popping sound. I don’t know what it’s doing, exactly, but it looks like it feels good.
My sister cracks her neck. I live in fear of the day she does this and then falls to the floor, limp from the neck down.
I crack my toes sometimes too. It’s not a buildup-and-release sort of thing, like I sometimes get with my knuckles and knees. I can just crack them when I want to. Ankles too.
Fingers, thumbs, toes, neck, all of my spine, wrists, elbows, shoulders, knees, ankles, and the best of the best…the hips. A good hip pop is one of the finest things in life.
