Yeah, I accidentally missed a couple of lines in my copy and paste and didn’t catch it. Sorry about that. By the way, while we’re on the subject of chess, I’ve got a question about the notation. (Pause to make my move)

7.Qh5 Qd6
8.Bb5+ Bd7
9.Bxd7+ Qxd7

Sometimes after a move I see a “!” or a “?” or some combination of the two. Do these have any set, specific meaning?

Yeah, ? means a bad move, ?? means a blunder, ! means a good move, !! means a winning move, !? means an interesting move that probably works, and ?! means a dubious move that probably doesn’t work.
