I have an air compressor, and would like to use it for painting. I will be using it mostly for priming large areas, as well as spraying latex on larger projects. The compressor I have can handle it, I was told, as far as SCFM. I need advice on the actual sprayer. Have you used a pressure pot (that’s what my friend called it)? Any recommendation will help.

SCFM wise, the compressor may not like to do “large areas” but my experience is with cup guns.
