Last I heard, he’d gotten laid off and didn’t have any good prospects. I heard about a job recently that I think he might be a good choice for…sent an email to his listed address and hopefully he will respond.
Weird, I was just thinking about the guy yesterday and wondering what had happened to him. Seems we’d always respond to the same thread within minutes of each other and his quips were highly amusing.

Hi, I’m back, still looking for a permanent job, still no fun at parties. I just got a temp job downtown, and now have (a) a fast enough Internet connection to make the SDMB a happy place for me, and (b) some money coming in so I can justify paying for this.
