I’d like to join as well! I have a few ringers in mind already.
We’ll start this off with a wine that I discovered about a year ago. The hubby and I had gone to dinner at a bar not too far from our house, and on the list of drinks was something that I had to try just based on the name of the winery and the wine. It turns out we liked it so much, it’s become a staple in our house, along with its sister wines. At about $15 a bottle, it’s easy to keep around.
Folie a Deux’s Menage a Trois - Red
It’s a blend of Cabernet, Merlot, and Zinfandel that goes very well with grilled meat or chicken, and we’ve had it with pasta and marinara sauce as well. The 2004, and 2005 vintages are available, and can be ordered from Folie a Deux’s website.
If you can’t get this one, any blend of three red varietals will do.
