I missed it. I was just curious if the photos were as dramatic as the hype over them would have indicated or if they were blurry, distant, hard to define images I would expect them to be.
According to the BBC news today, they were photocopies of the original photographs and in one of them, her face is shown in profile and is recognisable.
Let me add one question here, too. Is this anything new? I swear I saw a photo not long after the accident happened (in colour no less) of the Princess’ body slumped in the wrecked car.
I didn’t look closely to notice if it was a fake, (I really felt kinda wrong… it was one of those times you click a link, not thinking it will actually be what it claims, y’know?) but it looked real enough.
So, haven’t these photos been floating around for some time?

Unless Dateline:NBC has changed networks, it would seem that they are not the ones who showed the pictures. At least that’s what this story says.
I saw them on f u g l y . c o m some years ago. I don’t know it the site is still up, but…visit at your peril. Seriously. Not so much the Diana photos, but…other things there.
Out of morbid curiosity, I Googled images of “diana crash” and the first hit was what looked like a picture of her lying bloodied in the car. I’m not able to get the site, as it “has been intentionally restricted by … and deemed as not business related and/or inappropriate.”
You may want to try that if you’re so inclined. I must admit, what I think I saw made me feel a little uneasy, though.
Thank you…I thought I was the only one who remembered seeing those pictures back then. I vividly recall seeing the photos, but don’t remember where it was that I saw them. I usually only look at sites like MSNBC and CNN when it comes to news - so I am pretty sure the photos were on a reputable news site and not one of the gossip rags or rottendotcom.

No, I don’t think that is a legitimate photo of Diana. According to those who treated her, Diana’s face was unharmed, although she was bleeding from the mouth from internal injuries.
God, I hope not.
She had horrific injuries to her face if it is real.
Small correction to my previous post. Diana had a bleeding gash on her forehead. Otherwise, her face was uninjured.
