"Psychics who claim to have contacted the spirit of Diana, Princess of Wales for a TV show say she is “having fun” in the afterlife.

After spending time with Mother Teresa, Diana is working with children while watching over her own sons from the “other side”, according to British mediums Craig and Jane Hamilton-Parker.

The couple claim they communicated with the Princess for the controversial programme Spirit of Diana, which airs on a US pay-per view channel tonight.

Part of the show will be screened in the UK tomorrow, but the seance scenes have been cut because of British broadcasting regulations.

The Princess was not pregnant but she did plan to marry her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, the psychics claim she told them from beyond the grave.

She is not bitter about her death in a 1997 car crash which was definitely an accident, they say.

The mediums claim she sent a message that she likes the Queen, and said that deep down she still loves the Prince of Wales, though not in the same way that she loves Dodi. She was also against all wars, including the looming conflict with Iraq, they say.

Mrs Hamilton-Parker added: "The conditions were right. I sent my prayers up to see if it was possible for her to communicate, and suddenly I saw Diana.

“The thing that surprised me most about Diana was her bad language. She was a little bit rude, a little bit ready to be mischievous. I think she’s having fun on the other side,” she added.

The British version of the US documentary will be shown at 9pm on March 10 on LivingTV."
So Dopers, what do you think? Is Diana having fun? Does she really like the Queen? Is she against the looming conflict? Do you think some of this insight might be slightly fabricated? Do you think anybody really believes this crap?

She is “working with children”? Dead children? What kind of help do they need? What kind of work do they do?

I hope she isn’t having them make those cheapo wallets like I had to make in summer camp!

I’m sure many people believe this crap. Is she having fun. No. Does she like the Queen. No. Slightly fabricated? Duh.

I realized the ancient Egyptians had the right idea when I read the Book of the Dead and noticed that, after the opening invocations to Osiris and such, the first thing in it is a “Prayer to Avoid Doing Work in the Afterlife”.

Agreed! I can’t understand why anyone would believe this nonsense. After all, when Diana contacted me, she told me that the afterlife was pretty dull; she compared it to a rainy weekend in Belgium. Also, she complained that it is quite difficult to find soft toilet paper in the afterlife, the food is too salty and the chairs are uncomfortable.

Well, she told me “nobody here makes tea like we had at home. They just don’t have the right water here.”

She’s really not having all that much fun in the afterlife…she misses her sons, being able to hug them and see them on a regular basis and cries at night. Sometimes Mother Teresa comes in to hug and try to comfort her.

I’m not psychic or magical; I’m a mere muggle, but I do sometimes thru dreams and vivid images in my mind, see important people in the afterlife and “saw” Diana. She could not communicate with me; she really is not ready to communicate with anyone except her sons, siblings, mum, and closest of friends. Those people are the only ones who can really “contact” her.

Probably due to her accident, she broke her hip, ribs, hand, and wrist pretty badly and is still in physical therapy today and still walks with a limp and a cane.

She still experiences pain in her hip, wrist, and hand…medications helps take the edge off the pain, but doesn’t always get rid of the pain completely.

She also has a few scars on her face, esp. on her left cheek coming down to her upper lip. Her nose was broken and healed slightly crooked and wider than it was before.

She continued to be too thin for several years after the crash, but has finally put on some much-needed weight. Emotionally was badly traumatized and needed a few years of intensive therapy. She still sees a counselor today and takes anti-depressants to control the bouts of depressions she still suffers from today.

She still has occasional nightmares and flashbacks and suffers from several post-traumatic-stress disorder symptoms, but is slowly doing better and her nightmares are not at horrible as they were at first.

She still cries very often, still more than she used to (and we all know how much she used to cry even before the crash).

Her hair is chin-length, straight and rather stringy and she sometimes wears wire-rimmed glasses since she is 52 in my dream and a lot older.

Actually, I think she’s fine with the food and loves the tea there and the chairs, beds, and all are really, really comfortable. I “saw” that there was lots of snow there, which brought a weak smile to Diana’s face since in this life we know she loved snow.

She’s rather sad because she can’t dance anymore because of her hip, but she reads a lot and continues helping not only Earth, but has access to other planets in the universe and often is a spiritual diplomat for those planets at war.

She still sometimes has nightmares about this life. But slowly, she is coming to accept that her right hand and wrist are pretty much destroyed and has learning how to do everything with her left hand and can look in mirrors without wincing.

Best of all, she has FINALLY put on some much-needed weight…all she needed at the time of her death was twenty-five or thirty more pounds to be healthy again.

And she’s really worried about her sons and the House of Windsor in general; tabloid rumors of some “conspiracy” that caused her death has her worried and she really wants those rumors to be discredited because although she doesn’t remember the crash itself, she knows it was an accident.

Oh, and unfortunately…for a long time until recently, she REALLY felt guilty about her accident; she remembered her lack of seat belt and really felt distressed and feared that she’d “caused” pain for her sons, siblings, friends, and much of the world by dying too soon.

The first few years in the afterlife were really bad for her; she cried almost constantly; her self-esteem had relapsed back to the gutter; her nightmares were constant and excruciating; she couldn’t bear to look in the mirror and she actually was in a wheelchair till she mastered walking again.

Her feelings of guilt has eased recently, but she still feels the guilt and pain and fears that she’d “caused” pain. And further wars and tragedies have made her sad often.

I’ll try not to…why do people here get banned anyway? I just saw on the terms of agreement that as long as we’re civil and all and don’t harass anyone, they won’t ban us.

I don’t know. I’ve been here 14 years and have managed not to get banned. Maybe just stay away from “General Questions” when your evidence is your dreams.

I think so…not really sure. She hasn’t talked about it. She talks even less in the afterlife than in this life.

If there is indeed some possibility of escape from the afterlife, Harry Houdini must be working on it still, so he can return long enough to give these charlatans one final lesson that they and their heirs will never forget.
