That I rather doubt.
Republicans elected and continue to support a criminal, and somehow it’s the Democrat’s fault? Maddening.
I was at a holiday gathering where husband/wife Trump supporters packaged up Trump hats as white elephant gifts. They naturally started hoot hooting about Trump once their victims opened the “gifts”. The husband contended that Trump should be re-elected so that he could “fix the economy”.
Maddening, indeed.

I agree with the OP, despite having previously expressed concerns about Biden looking frail.
I mean, he does look frail, but the words out his mouth remain logical, principled and astute.
And in agree with how the media does him dirty, on both sides.
Let’s consider the economy for example. Many of the metrics: jobs, growth, stock market etc were horrible when Biden took over, and implicitly Trump is given a pass for all of it because of covid. Meanwhile for Biden, everything’s great except inflation (and even that is fantastic compared to the rest of the world) and no mention of covid in that context, it’s all Biden’s fault. Somehow.
After all of the above, I reiterate: the first sentence is speculation and the last sentence is an opinion (albeit both based on experience and observation). Everything else is demonstrably true.
Yes- Really=
Harris and newsome vs trump is not bad at all.
538 said three things lost the election for her-
The Comey Memo
Poor election planning
Relentless negative campaigning, even by members of her own party.
It’s a matter of perspective. It’s not so much that Trump is given a pass for the economy. It’s that he did so many things that were so much worse that being responsible for a stock market downturn doesn’t even register.
I see him looking old, but not frail. He rides bikes. He walks without issue; his balance is fine, and he doesn’t drag his feet.
A recent picture had him standing on a step stool. He isn’t slouching; he looks trim.
A lot of 80 year olds are doddering. Biden is not one of them.
I don’t think I agree. It’s such a meme that trump did well with the economy, and left-leaning media rarely pushes back against it, so most people believe it.
Heck, I think if you had asked me a year ago if employment was higher or lower after trump’s term I would have thought higher.
Granted, the main reason we lost jobs overall was covid, but then that’s clearly the main reason that inflation initially spiked under Biden.
Take away the hair dye and the excessive makeup from Trump and he would look a whole lot different. Biden is what you see is what you get.
An elephant in the room that is never mentioned re high prices is the fact that pay/hour for many workers jumped significantly post Covid, and the consumers are having to pay more to compensate.
It’s a lot more complicated than that.
High prices were also influenced by scarcity brought about from supply line disruptions during the pandemic. Also, many people left the workforce when jobs dried up due to restrictions in restaurants and retail and tourism, etc. Folks got by through a combination of gig work and unemployment wages, and not everyone wants to go back to those old jobs even after the handouts dried up, so places struggling to get workers might raise pay to entice people back.
It’s something of a chicken and the egg situation, and a bit of a vicious cycle as higher wages raise prices and so people need to be paid more to afford things… The economy is really complex. Which shouldn’t be a surprise.
Yeah.
This is not wrong, but it is simplistic.
