We’re planning a trip to Quebec this summer. I just stumbled upon the Laurentians part of my guide book, and it sounds spectacular! Mountains, cute villages, a 200 mile long bike path, nice places to stay… is it really like that? Is it horrible touristy? Incredibly expensive? C’mon, Montreal Dopers, 'fess up!

Just don’t go in the last two weeks of July. That’s construction holiday, and it seems like 2/3 of the province is on vacation.
