Oh My Og!
His left ear is missing!
Eh. From what I was expecting, that isn;t much.
I saw my wife’s gutty-wuts when she got her c-section and that wasn’t a huge deal for me, so I think you are really overestimating the “shock” value of the subject matter here.
On the other hand, good for you and what you are doing.
Good luck healin’ and such!!!
I wasn’t really going for “shock” as much as “look at this weird thing I had done”
If I wanted shock I’d put up links to pictures of the surgery. Icky.
awww come-on-man, ya gotsta post em! I’ve never seen a nose fillet.
(Sorry about your poor nose, I hope this works for you.)
Do a google search on “Photos of dorsal sculpture and spreader graft”. The first page that shows up in google will show you everything. On that page don’t forget to click on the link for “Open Rhinoplasty - exposure”.
Seven, how’s your nose doing?
:blinks: I just searched out this thread to ask the same thing!
So, how goes it? It’s about time for the One Month Later photos, yes?
I’m doing ok.
The nose. Hmmm?
Let’s just say I’m not impressed with the results yet. The doctor says it might take some time for tissues to settle down. But right now, it functions about the same as before the surgery.
The ear is mostly healed. There is a little spot on the front that has a bit of pink skin, but mostly it is doing good. I still can’t sleep on that side yet. Still too sore.
In all, I think I regret having the surgery. It doesn’t seem to have done much good and now I have a big nose (well, bigger then it was before). I’m sort of waiting for a few months to judge it though.
Considering I couldn’t sleep on one side for six weeks or so after I got an upper-ear piercing, I think that’s to be expected. I’m glad you’re doing well. I hope it all works out in the fullness of time.
