Anyone else see this happen with church buses?

It never fails that when we are on the highway in between towns, we pass a bus clearly marked “First United Church of Christ”, “Mount Zion Assembly of God” or some such devout religious organization. This is understandable; it’s cheap and convenient to travel in groups for retreats and such. These buses are usually filled to the brim with members of the church, who are clearly visble through the large windows.

Other things are visible too.

Maybe it is just me, but am I the only one who finds that every time (at least three times or so) I pass one of these buses, every window affords a rather embarrassing and unexpected view of a couple absolutely necking, and vigorously so? I swear, if the bus wasn’t so clearly labeled, I’d think I was passing the Bang Bus. I’ve nothing against PDA, but it seems to me an odd juxtaposition to see such mirth-making aboard such a vehicle, especially when you’re thinking those especially clean thoughts that can only come from easy-listening on an unfamiliar radio station and the expanse of countryside.

Am I the only one who has observed such a…well, we can’t say it’s not a loving thing…but, am I alone in observing this?

True, true. The religious ones are the randiest of all.

Well, I’ve never seen it, but I remember that the church bus was always great for making out when you were on a field trip.

Having traveled many miles in the back of church busses in my youth, I can honestly say you aint seen nothing! The kids do not check their hormones at the door! Of course now that I have teenage kids that go to retreats in church busses I know this no longer happens.

My first kiss was on a church bus. And my first make out session. (Different busses - :P) Come to think of it, a lot of friends’ “firsts” were on the way home from church trips.

(That’s it! No church for my kids, it just leads to heavy petting… wait a second… I’m confused.)
