If you’re a Columbia student/fac who might have a moment/the inclination to look at a very old book for me for a moment or two, please PM me. Basic Latin skills a plus. . .
Actually. . . scratch that. I might have another option. Thanks for listening!
Killing my own thread.
If any Columbians pop in anyway, all fired up to do some librarying, go check out the Rare Books library up in Butler. Not an oft-tread destination, but worth checking out.
Do tell. I’ve got a month off, and access to Butler.
I’ve got an alumni card and am headed there on Monday. I might be persuaded to help you out.
Maeglin,
Do I recall that you were (are?) a medieval historian? Did you switch over to law?
I might just PM you today-- I basically need to find a page number range for a section of a hard-to-access (for me) book, and I need to be as specific as possible since they generally don’t ship out books from 1564 over ILL. Only agree if this sounds fun and you have 1/2 hour to kill, as I might have a connection to a scanned version in coming weeks.
