I’m a Pac Ten fan and I’m really thinking this might be a great year for the Arizona Wildcats. While Duke and Texas are preseason favorites, I find it hard to have any enthusiasm for the Longhorns. Duke will have a good time and they are probably a Final Four team. I’m also not about to count out UConn.

I think you’re absolutely right. As an Illini fan I well remember how Arizona had the Illini all but blown out in the Elite Eight last year, and except for Stoudamire and Frye the whole team is back. (Granted those are big "except"s.) Arizona, Stanford, and UCLA should all be good but beyond that I don’t think the Pac 10 is quite as deep as some of the other conferences. In my neck of the woods, Michigan State looks like a legitimate national title contender, and they say Indiana may finally be back.
