My computer was just replaced, and the new model has Windows XP.
Now I can’t seem to get Tomcat 4.1 installed and running. The system tells me that JAVA_HOME isn’t properly defined. As far as I know that’s the only problem. When I try to surf to the local host, rather than the “Page not available” error, I get a 500 error with a Java stackdump, saying that the class
org.apache.jasper.JasperException
coiuldn’t be compiled.
