We have a 10YO daughter (she’ll be 11 in a couple of weeks). She likes to read. She loves the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, and has started reading Harry Potter. She’s pretty geeky. Hubby found a copy of the first book in The Ratbridge Chronicles at a price he felt like he couldn’t pass up, so he bought it for her for Christmas.
Who is familiar with this? What do you think of the accessibility/readability/writing style? Anything about you actively dislike? I just want to know what to expect.
